Directory standards
- Listings should serve or operate within the greater Kitsap food community.
- Business names, locations, contact information, services, credentials, and pricing must not be invented or exaggerated.
- Owners may claim or correct eligible listings. Submission does not guarantee publication.
- Inclusion, ordering, or a featured placement is not a quality endorsement.
Editorial standards
- Use primary and authoritative sources first for important facts.
- Separate reporting, opinion, sponsored work, affiliate content, and directory information.
- Do not publish fabricated reviews, firsthand experiences, credentials, quotes, or local observations.
- Recheck time-sensitive details such as dates, hours, menus, prices, events, availability, and regulations before publication.
- Make meaningful corrections when credible new information changes a published fact.
