Shopping, Case Orders, or Provisions? Three Paths at Kitsap Food Co-op

At Kitsap Community Food Co-op, a grocery visit, a special case order, and a Provisions business order start in different places. Choose the path that matches how you intend to buy before filling out a form.

The co-op’s official website says everyone can shop at its Bremerton store. Membership, special ordering, and a wholesale business account are separate questions; do not assume one is required simply to enter the store.

For household shopping

Start with the current store information and ask about the particular product you need. A general description of the store does not establish that an item is in stock, certified organic, or available at a particular price.

For a special meal, keep a substitution list alongside the shopping list. Decide which attributes matter before the trip, especially when a label or ingredient is important to your household.

For a full case of a product

The special case-order page has a product-request form and distinguishes an immediate order request from a price-and-quantity check. Read that choice carefully before submitting.

Gather the brand, product description or UPC, and the quantity you want. Ask about the number and size of units in the case, the total price, expected pickup, and whether your request is an order or only an inquiry. Do not infer case size from an individual package on a shelf.

For business purchasing

Provisions is the co-op’s wholesale program with a separate business-account application. Its published instructions describe documentation of business status and resale documentation where applicable. Confirm the current requirements with the co-op for your organization.

Keep a simple purchasing note: purpose, ordering path, product, quantity, unanswered question, and who confirmed the answer. It separates a promising shopping lead from a confirmed order and helps prevent an accidental purchase through the wrong form.
